Privacy is the Foundation of our Digital Heritage.

At QatarConnect, we view your personal data not as a commodity to be traded, but as a digital extension of your home and business. Our commitment to privacy in Doha and across Qatar is built on transparency, local regulatory alignment, and world-class technical safeguards.

Quick Governance Summary

  • 1

We strictly adhere to Qatar Law No. (13) of 2016 concerning Personal Data Privacy Protection.

  • 2

Encryption is the default state for all fiber and mobile traffic metadata.

  • 3

No third-party data brokerage. Your information stays within our secure Doha-based nodes.

Information we Custody for your Service

To provide high-speed telecommunications across the West Bay skyline or the villas of Al Wakrah, QatarConnect must process specific identifiers. We differentiate between necessary operational data and optional preferences.

Identity & Verification

This includes your full legal name, QID (Qatar Identification) details, and physical installation address. We use this exclusively to establish service at specific geographic coordinates.

Network Telemetry

Technical logs regarding signal strength in your neighborhood, bandwidth utilization peaks, and device connection status. This is used for predictive maintenance in areas like The Pearl.

Billing Histories

Transaction records and preferred payment methods. We do not store full credit card numbers on our local servers; they are vaulted through PCI-DSS compliant gateways.

Privacy Lens: Our Operational Trade-offs

Security often comes at the cost of extreme convenience. At QatarConnect, we choose the path that maximizes your long-term privacy over short-term data mining perks.

Legal Compliance

Q: How do you respond to government information requests?

A: We comply strictly with valid Qatari judicial warrants while following the transparency requirements set by the Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA).

Account Deletion

Q: Can I request complete "Digital Oblivion" of my data?

A: Upon contract termination and settlement of dues, you may request the deletion of all data not required for statutory audit or tax compliance under Qatar law.

AI & Analytics

Q: Is my browsing history used to train AI models?

A: No. We do not inspect packet contents for behavioral profiling or AI training purposes. Our analytics are strictly network-performance-centric.
